Race in Education

Thank you for your patience. As stated in our repeated ads in Poets and Writers, this is a subject that scares folks off.  Rather than delay any longer, we are posting selections that have been accepted for publication and will continue to accept pieces until we have a strong enough collection to print a special hard copy issue or anthology. We are very eager to see the new work of poets, writers, artists, and photographers. The scaffolding is up.

Advice: Please explore our site and see what we have selected so far before submitting any work. Focus on race in education today, not the 40's, 50's, or 60's. Go beyond witness poems about poor Black and Latino kids as seen by a teacher in his or her classroom (in a vacuum). Do not be afraid.

*Please note: the final and specific sequencing of selections will be completed after we stop accepting submissions.
