Michael S.  Glaser is professor of English, Emeritus at St. Mary’s College of Maryland where he served for 38 years. A recipient of the Dodge Endowed Award for Excellence in Teaching and widely sought as a speaker and workshop leader, he was Poet Laureate of Maryland from 2004 to 2009.
